Running from the waterfront through the downtown financial district, Milk Street has a rich history as one of Bostons earliest highways. The historic street is home to the famed Old South Meeting House, as well as the small home where Benjamin Franklin was born. Its been said that the street took its name, quite logically, from a milk market that stood there in the early 18th century.
