Chicago, Illinois, Dearborn Station, c1915

Dearborn Station, located at Dearborn and Polk streets in downtown Chicago, was one of six inter-city train stations operating at the height of rail travel in the growing city. Its most salient feature was a 12-story clock tower, designed in Romanesque Revival style by Cyrus L. W. Eidlitz and opened to the public in 1885.
