Cincinnati, Ohio, Patriotism at the Post Office, c1910

A quarter-century after the 1885 completion of Cincinnatis United States Custom House and Post Office, the citys federal employees hosted a Silver Jubilee to celebrate the history of the municipality. In addition to draping the nations largest flag out front of the post office, a mail car was decorated in patriot colors, and a formal dinner was held at the nearby Grand Hotel.
