The Williamson Building stood for more than 80 years on the eastern end of Public Square, the monumental gateway to the internationally renowned Euclid Avenue, home to Millionaire’s Row and once called the “Showplace of America.” When the building opened in 1900, at 16 stories high, it was Cleveland’s tallest building.
