Savannah, Georgia, Independent Presbyterian Church, c1936

The Independent Presbyterian Church was founded as the first Presbyterian Church in Georgia in 1755. The first two versions of the church building burned in the 18th and 19th centuries before the current structure was completed in 1891. The church still stands today, on the corner of Bull and Oglethorpe streets.
