Dr. Herman Luyties established Luyties Homeopathic Pharmacy at the corner of Broadway and Olive streets in 1853. The small pharmaceutical store became a household name in Missouri as its simple remedies grew in popularity. Herman�s son August expanded the business in 1904 and many of the formulas they created are still trusted today.
