Fayette Park flourished in the late 1860s after nearby residents gathered enough donations to hire landscape architect C. Hastings for the park�s redesign. Centrally located and surrounded by stately homes, the park was recreated with an ornate fountain, curvy pathways, lush plantings and a cast iron perimeter fence that still beautifies the area today.
